Religious Roots of Information Systems LSI
Dear SophiaEuropa colleagues,
I am writing to let you know that the Religious Roots of Information Systems LSI is going to be holding a workshop at the University of Lincoln in a few weeks' time.
I know that for many of you attendance at this will not be possible but I thought you might be interested to hear about it nonetheless. You would be very welcome to join us if you can. I have sent this email to all those addresses which I have to hand but it may be that I have missed somebody. Please do forward this on to colleagues who may be interested. If you would like me to add anybody else to my mailing list for the future, please send me the details and I will be very happy to do so.
I give below this email a rough outline of the format of the workshop here in Lincoln. The final details will be available in about one week's time and if you would like to attend then please let me know as soon as possible. I will ensure that my team gets in touch with you.
We will have several presentations from members of the RRIS LSI as well as members of Faculty here at Lincoln.
I am particularly delighted to say that a member of one of the LSIs in the US (from Les Metzler's group)is going to be in Europe very soon and is coming across to join us in Lincoln for the workshop. He will be giving a presentation arising out of the work we heard about at the last Metanexus annual conference (on robots and spirituality).
I am also pleased to say that I will be attending the annual Metanexus conference again this year in Philadelphia. I hope to see many of you there and to share information and ideas on our work.
Best wishes,
Dr. Carole Brooke,
Reader in Management,
Lincoln Business School,
University of Lincoln.
